Privacy statement Solid Road Foundation
Solid Road Foundation processes personal data and other data in accordance with applicable legislation according to the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). Solid Road values your privacy and therefore treats your personal data with care. Your personal data will only be used by or on behalf of Solid Road and will not be made available to third parties without your consent. Below you can read what rules Solid Road adheres to:

This privacy statement applies to the processing of personal information and data provided by project participants, associates, volunteers, employees and donors and data obtained by Solid Road through your use of and visit to its websites.

Processing of your data
Solid Road maintains a participant file and, for the newsletters issued by Solid Road and conferences organised by Solid Road, a file that also records personal data of relations.

Participants are (former) asylum seekers, undocumented migrants and refugees taking part in Solid Road’s projects. The participant file also contains the details and data of potential participants who wish to know more about one of the Solid Road projects.

Participants or potential participants in the context of preparing for return. The following details and data are stored about this target group:

First and last name, date of birth, gender, v-number, country of origin/nationality, date/year of arrival in the Netherlands, e-mail address, telephone number, place of residence, work experience, education, place where that person comes from, place where that person wants to live, plan of action including a short business plan, copy of front and back of a w-document or other identity document. In addition, if applicable, v-numbers of a participant’s minor children and copies of the children’s w-document or other identity document.

Following written consent from the potential participant, the following data are exchanged with the DT&V (Repatriation & Departure Service) for verification. The DT&V is an organisation of the Ministry of Justice and Security. First and last name, date of birth, nationality, v-number, gender and if applicable v-numbers of the children.

Upon a participant’s written consent, information about a participant’s return process will be exchanged with the DT&V.

Contacts are people and/or organisations with which Solid Road is in contact in connection with the projects and work it performs.

If you register for the newsletter, the following details about you are stored:

Your name and email address.

If you register for a congress organised by Solid Road, the following details are stored:

Your name, email address, and if applicable the organisation you work for.

View, change or delete data

You can at any time request access to the data we have recorded about you or have it changed or deleted. You can e-mail your changes to Solid Road:  info@solidroad.nl

You can also send an email to this address if you no longer wish to be kept informed of our activities. Solid Road is required to request proof of identity before we can provide you with information about your personal data in our records. You can also submit a request by letter, accompanied by your name, address, telephone number and a copy of a valid identification document, addressed to the administration of Solid Road, Bisschop Hamerstraat 11, 6511 NA Nijmegen

Email
If you have provided your e-mail address to Solid Road to receive a Solid Road newsletter, you will be informed by e-mail about the work and results of our various projects.

Solid Road uses a system when sending e-mail newsletters that provides insight into how these newsletters are opened and read. It can also see whether you click the links in the newsletter. In this way, Solid Road can ascertain whether the newsletters are read and the links are used.

Solid Road has taken technical and organisational measures to in order to protect personal data from loss or any kind of illegal processing.
